Our company is partnered with Sam's Club of Hickory, North Carolina to send needed items and care packages over to the troops of Afghanistan. Many of our troops have families here that they can speak with and receive care packages from. Many do not. And these troops receive nothing. These are the guys we want to help out. They've been there with no contact with the US since they arrived.
We would sincerely like to give at least one thing to each troop, but realistically, in today's economy, it's just not feasible. So we would like your help. If you live in or around Hickory, North Carolina, please stop into Sam's Club and ask a manager how you can donate to the Afghanistan care package project. As far as we know, Hickory Sam's Club is the only club in the nation doing this. This is not supported by Sam's Club or Wal-Mart corporate headquarters, and is only able to be initiated on a per-club basis. So, please, if you're not in the Hickory, North Carolina area, visit your local Sam's Club and talk to a manager about how they too can set up a care package program for our troops in their area.
